Buying a bus ticket in Milton Keynes

The bus services in Milton Keynes offer a variety of tickets and bus passes.

Single fares can be up to £3.80 within the MK Boundary

Day tickets range between £4.70 and £5.20 within the MK Boundary

Weekly and 4 Weekly passes are available for regular travellers for most operators

Arriva Student and Child Travel 2024-25

Arriva’s Child and Student Saver tickets provide your child with reduced priced bus travel cost on their journey to-and-from schools. Ticket can also be used to travel at weekends, evenings and throughout all school term holidays.

Train Station to Centre:MK

Hop on board for free to visit the city centre shopping, leisure facilities or to head to Unity place and try out the independent food traders and community facilities being provided.

Just walk onto any participating operator and ask for a Hopper from any of the bus stops along the route. There are buses every few minutes along these routes and from the Y stands at Central Station.

Milton Keynes City Council is partnering with local Operators to bring you free travel to explore and enjoy the centre.
