Revised Train Services During Coronavirus Period

Travelling a longer distance?
Take the train to or from Milton Keynes, it’s quick and comfortable and reduces congestion on the roads.
You can spend your time catching up with work, reading or just sitting back, relaxing and taking in the scenery.
Milton Keynes Central railway station is located on the West Coast Main Line. The station is served by Avanti West Coast intercity services, and by London North Western Railway and Southern services.
You can catch a direct train all the way to Glasgow, or get into London Euston in just over 30 minutes.
Milton Keynes has excellent rail connections to Birmingham and London Euston with frequent trains, along with serving the local area. Milton Keynes Central station is operated by London North Western Railway.
Train timetables and tickets
All of the train operators mentioned above have timetable information on their websites and many have the option to buy tickets online. For national timetables and tickets, the trainline website combines all of the information and also allows you to purchase e-tickets for some routes via the app.

Train stations in and around Milton Keynes
Milton Keynes Central railway station serves central Milton Keynes and the surrounding area and is located less than a mile from the city centre.
This station is one of six stations serving the Milton Keynes area. You can view the locations of all of the stations on our interactive map. The other train stations in MK are:
- Wolverton, facilities include: toilet facilities, cycle parking, Café. Bus routes 5, 7, 23 and 33/33A stop outside of the rail station and travel to both Central Milton Keynes and Bletchley.
- Bletchley – Facilities include: Café, toilets, parking, cycle parking, taxi rank. The bus station in Bletchley has a large undercover waiting area and real-time information screens providing accurate information on bus departures. It takes roughly 7 minutes to walk between the rail station and bus station, HOWEVER it should be noted that this route has poor accessibility for disabled persons and people in a hurry!

The Marston Vale line along the south of the borough provides a direct link from Bletchley to Bedford and will in the future be part of East-West rail linking Oxford, Milton Keynes and Cambridge.
Cycle parking at train stations
Most of the train stations in MK have cycle parking facilities, except Fenny Stratford. MK Central has nearly 200 secure cycle lockers which can be rented on a long-term basis.

Milton Keynes Central Station

The Point Bus Interchange
The Point is a local landmark within Milton Keynes where the majority of bus services stop along their routes. The Point is positioned behind Centre:MK and next to the INTU shopping centre, meaning its location is great for accessibility to the two shopping centres and food outlets within them.

This National Express bus station is located in Broughton, Milton Keynes and offers the following facilities;
