Love to Ride. Be part of the International Cycling Campaign!
Using different themes, Love to Ride encourage people to get out on their bikes, whatever the weather and wherever you are going.
Log your bike rides year-round and participate in four major campaigns where you can win prizes simply for riding your bike and encouraging others to do the same! Use the Love to Ride website to set personal challenges, compete against friends and colleagues, and climb the leaderboards. This initiative also focuses on getting more people to rate how safe and comfortable they feel on their routes. This valuable rider feedback can then be used to help transform local infrastructure, making cycling safer and more enjoyable!
The four big campaigns are;
- Ride it Out (March)
- Bike Month (May)
- Cycle September (September)
- Winter Wheelers (December)
Here’s how anyone can take part:
- Sigh up for free at www.lovetoride.net/miltonkeynes. Download the Love to Ride app for Apple or Android devices.
- Enjoy a bike ride anywhere, any time
- Use the Rate My Routes feature to provide feedback on streets and paths
- Earn points with every bike ride that will turn into prize draw entries
- Encourage others to get involved to earn more points and prize entries
