Bus service disruptions and diversions

Stop 5609 Church Street, Wolverton

From Monday 5 October 2026 the development work will expand to include the Agora carpark and footpath.

For the duration of the work on the apartment building at the Agora site, buses will not be able to stop on Church street. A temporary stop will be installed on Stratford road by the pedestrian crossing in-between Creed Street and Radcliffe Street.

During the closure only service 33 buses towards Northampton will serve stop 5307 outside Tesco and all other services will use the temporary stop on he opposite side of the road.

North Crawley Road, Newport Pagnell 

North Crawley will be closed between Tickford Street and Jenna Way by National Grid Monday 5 October to Monday 2 November 8pm to 6am each night.

During the closure late services of the C1 will be diverted between North Crawley and Newport Pagnell via Chicheley Road,  A422, A509 and London Road and vice versa. It will therefore be unable to serve this stop.

Silbury boulevard, Campbell Park

Cricket Green Roundabout by Overgate will be closed for highway maintenance Thursday 8 to Thursday 15 October 9:30am – 4:30pm

During the closure all buses will run via Portway and Skelton Gate. You are advised to use stops in the further along Silbury Boulevard.

Watling Street, Great Holm

Watling Street will be closed between Dansteed Way and Portway for surveying work Monday 12 to Friday 16 October 9:30am – 4:30pm

During the closure service 2/2A will divert via Dansteed Way – past the Crematorium – Fulmer Street southbound – Portway – Grange Farm – Whitehouse.

Downs Barn Boulevard, Downs Barn

Downs Barn Boulevard will be closed for Bus stop improvements works Monday 12 to Friday 30 October

During the closure service 2 will divert via Darley Gate – Downs Barn Boulevard – Capel Drive – Dansteed Way and vice versa. Please use stops 5129 or 5146 further along Downs Barn Boulevard.

Groveway, Brinklow

Groveway will be closed between Kingston roundabout to Bransworth Avenue for highway maintenance Tuesday 13 to Monday 19 October 9:30am – 4:30pm weekdays only

During the closures service 3/3A will be required to divert Burney Drive – Newport Road – Kingston roundabout. You are advised to use stops on Burney Drive or Standing Way. Services will operate as normal before 0930, after 1630 and at the weekend.

Stop 5112 Whaddon Way, Bletchley

Stop 5112 will be closed for nearby utilities work Monday 19th October 9:30am – 3:30pm

During the closure please use stops further along Whaddon Way.

Newport Road, New Bradwell

Newport Road at the approach to Stonebridge roundabout will be closed by Anglian for emergency works to a collapsed sewer Monday 19th October to 4th December

During the closure service 5 will operate directly along Grafton Street. Service 7 will operate along the eastern section of Newport Road as usual but will then divert down Bradwell Road in place of the 5 and will then use Grafton Street – Millers Way to and from Wolverton.

Please note that with service 7, Wolverton-bound and city centre-bound services will operate from the opposite side of Bradwell Road compared to service 5.

Marlborough Street, Stantonbury

Marlborough Street will be closed between Gifford Gate and Redbridge Roundabout for highway maintenance Wednesday 21 October 9:30am – 4:30pm

During the closure service 5 will divert via Groveway and Saxon Street.

Stop 5341 Newport Road, New Bradwell

Stop 5341 Newport Road will be closed for nearby utilities work Friday 23 October 9:30am – 4:30pm

During the closure please use stops further along Newport Road or on Bradwell Road.

Station Road, Bow Brickhill

Station Road will be closed between Rushmere Close and Edwin Close for highway maintenance work Friday 23 October 9:30am – 3pm

During the closure the LOOP service will be unable to serve Bow Brickhill. The nearest stops served will be at The Swan, Woburn Sands, and on V10 Brickhill Street by Heybridge Crescent.
