Bus service disruptions and diversions

Stop 5609 Church Street, Wolverton

Stop 5609 Church Street will be closed from Wednesday 27 May – Sunday 4 October 2026 because of redevelopment work to the Agora

During the closure temporary stops will be in place further along Church Street

From Monday 5 October 2026 the development work will expand to include the Agora carpark and footpath.

For the duration of the work on the apartment building at the Agora site, buses will not be able to stop on Church street. A temporary stop will be installed on Stratford road by the pedestrian crossing in-between Creed Street and Radcliffe Street.

During the closure buses will not serve stop 5307 outside Tesco and all services will divert the stop on he opposite side of the road.

Lommond Drive, Lakes Estate

Lommond Drive will be closed between between Sheelin Grove and Stoke Road by National Grid Monday 7 September to Friday 9 October

Whilst the road is closed all bus services will divert along the A4146 Stoke Road. The closest alternative stops are on Fern Grove or Stoke Road.

Hospital Stop A, Eaglestone 

Hospital Stop A will be closed while work to install the new shelter Tuesday 8 to Friday 25 September.

During the closure all services that normally use Stop A will loop round Marina roundabout and use stop B.

Shenley Road, Far Bletchley

Shenley Road will be closed between Emerson roundabout and Humber Way for highway maintenance Tuesday 22 to Thursday 24 September 9:30am – 3:30pm

During the closure the LOOP service will be required to divert via Tattenhoe Lane. Use alternative stops on Whaddon Way.

Aspreys, Olney

Aspreys will be closed between Yardley Road and Silswood for resurfacing works Tuesday 22 to Tuesday 29 September 9:30am – 3pm Weekdays only

During the closures please use stops on Weston Road or Yardley Road.

Brickhill Street, Walton Hall

Brickhill Street will be closed between Standing Way and University roundabout for resurfacing works Wednesday 23 September to Thursday 1 October  8pm – 6am each night

During the closures late and early services on the 8 will divert via Standing Way – Tongwell Street – Groveway.

Station Road, Woburn Sands

Station Road will be closed between Chapel Street and Theydon Avenue for highway maintenance works Thursday 24 September 9:30am – 4:30pm

During the closure the LOOP will divert via Weathercock Lane and Aspley Hill. Please use the temporary stops situated approx. 50m down Hardwick Road or at the train station.

Loughton Roundabout, Loughton

Loughton Roundabout will be closed over night for highway maintenance works Thursday 24 – Friday 25 September 9pm – 6am

During the closure the final two journeys on service 2 will divert via Dansteed Way and Fulmer Street (southbound).

Groveway, Tower Gate

Groveway will be closed between Kingston roundabout and Bransworth Avenue for drainage works Thursday 24 September to Thursday 1 October 9:30am – 4:30pm

During the closure service 3 will divert via Burney Drive onto Newport Road – Kingston roundabout and vice versa and be unable to serve stops in Tower Gate, You are advised to use stops on Burney Drive or Standing Way.

Dansteed Way, Great Holm

Dansteed Way will be closed between Crownhill roundabout and Kensington Drive for drainage works Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September 9:30am – 4:30pm

During the closures service 4 towards Wolverton will divert via Grafton Street – Dansteed Way – Great Monks Street. Service 2 will divert via Dansteed Way – Lodge roundabout – Great Monk Street – Monks Way – Watling Street and vice versa.

Crownhill Roundabout, Crownhill

Crownhill Roundabout will be closed for Surveying and drainage works Friday 25 – Saturday 26 September 9pm – 6am

During the closures Final two journeys on service 2 will divert via Portway. Service 4 northbound will divert via Grafton Street – Dansteed Way – Great Monks Street.

Watling Street, Crownhill

Watling Street will be closed between Dansteed Way and Portway for highway maintenance Monday 28 September 9:30am – 4:30pm

During the closure service 2/2A will divert via Dansteed Way – past the Crematorium – Fulmer Street (southbound) – Portway – Grange Farm – Whitehouse.

Grafton Street, Bradwell

Grafton Street will be closed by Hutchinson 3G northbound between Dansteed Way and Walgrave Drive for telecoms work Monday 28 to Wednesday 30 September 9:30am – 4:30pm

During the closure all buses will divert via Dansteed Way – Saxon Street – Monks Way. To catch any bus service during this time please use stops on Monks Way,  on Dansteed Way or stop 5556 Rooksley roundabout south.

Westbury Lane, Newport Pagnell

Westbury Lane will be closed between Shelley Close and Longfellow Drive for highway maintenance Tuesday 29 September 9:30am – 4:30pm

During the closure no bus services will be able to serve the Poets Estate. Service 2 will operate along Wolverton Road.

Dunscombe Street, Bletchley

Dunscombe Street will be closed between Brunel roundabout and Water Eaton Road for highway maintenance Tuesday 29 September 9:30am – 4:30pm

During the closure services X2/X3 towards Luton Airport will divert via Manor Road like services 5 and 6. Please use stops on Manor Road or Stoke Road.

Fulmer Street, Furzton

Fulmer Street will be closed between Hawkshead Drive and Chaffron Way for Street Lighting works Tuesday 29 September 9:30am – 4:30pm

During the closure the LOOP will divert via Loxbeare Drive while Fulmer Street closed.
