Cycle September is back in MK

Join thousands of people taking part in Cycle September this September.

Cycle September is a fun, free cycling challenge that’s open to everyone, whether you ride every day or are just getting started. Ride anywhere, any distance, at any time throughout September to earn points, win prizes and help make your community better for biking by Rating Your Routes.

People can ride anywhere, any distance and any time during September. Any kind of bike riding counts, whether a short trip (like riding to the shops or school) or a longer bike ride. Participants can also access tips, encouragement, and tools that help make biking a regular, enjoyable part of life. Take part on your own or with your workplace, school or community group.

This year, participants can also earn points and prize entries by ‘rating their routes’ – giving valuable feedback on what it’s like to ride on local streets, and helping make the community better for biking.

Key benefits:

  • SUPPORT MULTIPLE LOCAL PRIORITIES
From improving health and wellbeing to encouraging active travel, reducing emissions and creating more liveable communities.
  • ENGAGE YOUR COMMUNITY
Inspire residents, workplaces, schools and community groups to take part in a fun, positive campaign that gets more people riding.
  • PROMOTE ACTIVE TRAVEL
Encourage more everyday journeys by bike in support of transport, sustainability and climate objectives.
  • LEAD BY EXAMPLE
Encourage your own staff to get involved and demonstrate your organisation’s commitment to healthier, more sustainable travel.
  • ACCESS VALUABLE LOCAL INSIGHTS
See how, when and where people are riding through localised data and reporting. Route Ratings help councils using Love to Ride’s mapping tools understand people’s experiences on local streets, supporting better-informed transport planning.

Every ride counts, so sign up today and join thousands of people riding this September.
