Changes to electric bike and scooter parking

We are changing the way that electric bikes and scooters can park in Central Milton Keynes between the boundaries of the V8, V6, H6 and H5 grid roads / Redways. Within CMK, Lime and Dott will allocate geofenced parking zones at all existing bike racks and riders will only be able to end their journeys by parking the hire bikes and scooters in the existing cycle parking areas – Sheffield stands and street pods. These will be shown on the operators Apps.

We hope that these changes will continue to make using the bike and scooter hire services a viable option for transport and help people get around by more active and sustainable modes, whilst also improving the public realm, reducing pavement riding and street clutter.

These changes will take effect on Monday 28 October 2024.
