MK Cultural Routes – The Shenleys

This is one of the most varied Cultural Ride in the series, exploring four lakes, scenic villages, an ancient castle, and a green valley.

Along Cycle Routes and quiet local roads this ride is suitable for beginners and youngsters. The route is mainly flat but does have a couple of hills. We’ll take these very gently. We travel at the speed of the slowest person and never leave anyone behind. We stop occasionally to look at places of local interest. You should be aware that there is a long gradient between Loughton and Shenley Toot. It’s not too steep but it is quite long. This should be taken into account if you have very small children and the ride should be finished around 12.30pm
