Blue Lagoon Community Safety and Environment Event.

Celebrate the opening of the new Redway joining Newton Leys to Water Eaton Road.

Friday 26 July between 12:30pm to 3:30pm at the Blue Lagoon.

There will be food and music and an opportunity to try out a Lime or a Tier scooter too.*

We’ll be joined by Bucks Fire and Rescue Service, Thames Valley Police also the Environment Agency, Angling Trust and more.

The fire and police services (with vehicles) will be in attendance and will interact with the visitors. Last year children were given the opportunity to dress up as a police officer and take part in emergency throwline training with the fire service.

Our e-scooter rental scheme companies, who operate in MK, will also be coming along to let people know the rules around hiring scooters and offer safe riding advice. People can also try out an e-scooter, providing that they are 18 and have a provisional driving licence.

There will be various Community Safety and environmental groups in attendance.

There will be an ice cream van and food vendors in attendance. We are hoping that people will bring a picnic and just enjoy this wonderful space in MK.
