Learn how to spot and photograph nature’s finest details

Join Nicky Kenny, walk leader and photographer, with your camera (camera phones are perfectly fine!) for a relaxed photography walk around the beautiful nature reserve The Blue Lagoon. Nicky is a self taught photographer, born and raised in MK, who loves to document the varied mix of old and new that Milton Keynes has to offer. Nicky will begin the walk with a short introduction of her creative practice. The walk will focus on observation and composition, not technical know how.

No photography experience is needed, as the walk moves through a landscape that is rich in wildlife the aim will be to carefully observe and slow down.

Meet in The Blue Lagoon car park at 9.30am. The walk will last approximately 2 hours. Please note: parking is limited, so we encourage visitors to walk, cycle, or use public transport where possible. Use our journey planner to find the best way to travel to the event

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome.
