Be a Better Biker Course

Be a Better Biker (BaBB) is designed to give motorcyclists (full licence holders) an introduction to advanced riding. The day covers the principles of advanced riding including:

• Manoeuvring

• Overtaking

• Cornering techniques

• On-road assessment with observers, approximately 2 hours

• A review of the on-road sessions, discussing lessons learnt

There are 12 places available; start time 10am and the course finishes around 3pm.

Available dates to book: Saturday 25 April,  Saturday 20 June and Saturday 25 July.

Please ensure you have a full tank of fuel, or at least 100 miles worth of fuel, and bring your own lunch, though we will provide tea and coffee.

Be a Better Biker is delivered by Milton Keynes Advanced Motorists (MKAM) mkam.org.uk.

If you wish to cancel your place then we require 7 days notice for a refund , minus Eventbrite’s fee.

All participants attending the Be A Better Biker workshops, do so at their own risk and will take full responsibility for ensuring their motorcycle is in a road worthy condition, has correct documentation including MOT if required, Insurance and Tax. The rider has a full driving licence authorising them to ride the category of their bike and is fit to ride.

Milton Keynes City Council take no responsibility in ensuring these documents are correct or conduct any checks on the participant or their motorcycle.
