Don’t miss out on gaining urban cycling skills
We ran an Urban Cycling Skills webinar last Tuesday in partnership with Love to Ride, if you missed it first time around catch up with a recording of the webinar here.
This fun, free, 50-minute webinar is for anyone who wants to ride comfortably and confidently on the road.
Qualified instructors will show you how to make sure your bike is roadworthy and how to prepare for your journey. You will then unlock two Cycling Superpowers that allow you to communicate effectively with other road users, control the traffic around you and enjoy your ride.
A Travel Planner from Milton Keynes Council talked about local routes and the support on offer to help you ride.
There was plenty of time for questions and there was a local instructor on hand to talk about specific places you find tricky to ride.
Here’s some of the feedback we received following the webinar on Tuesday;
‘Everyone’s input was excellent, I’ve lived here over 35 years and Ellie was able to teach me a lot about the use of cycling on the Redways.’
‘Well done on cramming in so much info into such a short space of time!’
‘I’d like to thank, Jack, David, Ellie and Nicky for providing us all with some very helpful and useful information. An excellent webinar, thank you!’
