‘Dream big’ and ‘Live an adventure’

Trek Milton Keynes is proud to support International Women’s Day on the 8th March.

To celebrate Trek has got a very special guest joining them in store, a London and Rio Paralympian and world Record breaking ultra-cyclist Mel Nicholls.

Mel’s story is truly inspiring; from overcoming a series of life changing strokes to becoming a Paralympian, to tackling some incredible challenges and adventures.

Mel’s mottoes ‘Dream Big’ and ‘Live an Adventure’ are no truer than her real life adventure tales as she continues to go beyond barriers.  Mel brings a unique take on adventure over disability, the female role and as a sportswoman.

From 1.00 pm, there is also the option to participate in a ride out with Mel and  Women’s Advocate, Saffron, to the Milton Keynes Rose at Campbell Park, to participate in a special International Women’s Day Ceremony.

On the day;

  • Talk will start at 12:00 noon
  • Kit up and ride at 1:00 pm
  • Find out more about British Cycling initiative Breeze
