Let’s all celebrate and have a good ride!

Join MK Citizens to celebrate the recent achievement of city status.  A large group ride will set off from The Old Bus Station and cycle through CMK to Campbell Park and back.

Pre-ride training available: A two-hour Bikeability training session is available for any adult who wants to increase their cycling confidence before the 14th July ride (contact cycling@milton-keynes.gov.uk)

Event Schedule:

Cycle Stunt Contests inc Bunny Hop Contest and Wheelie Delicious Doughnut Challenge (£100 cash prize for winner, £50 for 2nd, £25 for 3rd placed) – 4-5.30pm

Vintage Cycle Show – 4-5.30pm.  Pre-1970 bikes only, points awarded for style, and all participants must have at least one item of tweed on their person at all times.

Mayor’s Awards presented by Deputy-Mayor Cllr Mick Clegg with support from former Mayor Cllr Mohammed Khan – 5.30-6pm

City Status Cycle Ride – meet outside The Old Bus Station, ride up Midsummer Boulevard, Saxon Gate and Silbury Boulevard to Light Pyramid in Campbell Park for a large group photo, and back – 6-6.30pm.
