Bikeability – Learn to Ride Lessons

Sat 5th Oct 2019
Stantonbury Campus Leisure Centre, MK14 6BN
£10

This course is ideal for people who want to get back in the saddle or learn how to ride.

Just an hour of one to one tuition should be enough to put many of you on your way to a summer of two-wheeled exploration!

Since 2017 around 100 people per year, mostly adults, took part in our one hour introductory Learn to Ride courses. Participants ranged in age from 5 to 75 so it just goes to show you’re never too old to learn. Cycling can give everybody their independence to get out and about on a bike more safely.

Our, ‘Bikeability Learn to Ride’ cycle training sessions are available through Andrew Hetherington from the Chiltern Cycle Hub. Milton Keynes Council are heavily subsidising these sessions but you will have to pay a booking fee of £10 directly to the Andrew to secure your place. (One subsidised session per person.)

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Booking is essential for this course and places are VERY limited so please respond promptly to our emails to ensure your place is secure. Sessions will be allocated on first come first serve basis.

Learn to Ride lessons are available on the following dates:

  • Saturday 5th October
  • Saturday 26th October
  • Monday 28th October

If you are interested email andrew@chilterncyclehub.co.uk

Andrew will ask you to complete a feedback form about the training session. Information received from these is vital for us to show the impact of the training we provide to hopefully gain more funding to provide more training.

Happy Cycling!
